One of the most common problem areas for women is the tummy. I’ve developed several unique exercises to help strengthen the abdominals and tone the tummy &#45; here are a couple you can try at home.

Interval Lower Abdominal Raises
&#45; Lie with your hands under your tailbone and your legs extended straight (pointed at the ceiling/sky)

&#45; Perpendicular to your torso, lift your hips off the floor in a straight line.

&#45; Pause, then lower your hips.

&#45; Try to do about 12 to 10 reps. You could also do what is called descending reps—start at 12, 10, 8, etc.

Side and Centre Crunches:
&#45; Lie on your back with your knees bent at a 90 degree angle. Squeeze a folded towel (or a light medicine ball) between them, and place your feet flat on the floor.

&#45; Put your fingers behind your head, but do put any forward pressure on your head.

&#45; Raise your head, shoulders, and feet off the floor. Keep your torso up, and move your knees in a figure 8 motion.


Each figure 8 is one repetition. Do 12 to 10 reps.</description>
