A year ago, I bent to pick up a hefty flower pot in our backyard. Ten minutes later, I was gobbling Tylenol. A week later, I felt as if a mule had kicked me in the lower back. A month later, I began training with Adrianne. Today, I’m stronger and more fit than I’ve been in 25 years.
It was the simplest of maneuvers, and as I lifted up that flower pot and began to turn, it had devastating consequences. Deciding to train with Adrianne was simple, too – and the results have been just as dramatic, but overwhelmingly positive.
I’m more mindful of what I eat, heeding his advice regarding nutrition. I’m more confident physically, no longer having to second guess whether I can just reach down for something without triggering some kind of pain. Training has improved my performance in sports such as downhill skiing. And mentally, I am more consistently alert and able to focus intensely on projects.
Adrianne’s approach to wellness includes body and mind, and each session integrates both in ways that are engaging without being oppressive. So I look forward to my sessions. When he’s helping you to push yourself, even though it’s often physically demanding and a test of your willpower, the results – as well as the process – are immensely rewarding.
