Breakthrough Breakfast

Eating right is an important part of looking and feeling good. A healthy, nutritionally balanced breakfast can be one of the best steps you take in your journey to wellness.

This is a recipe I’ve recommended to many of my clients, and they swear it works wonders.
Adrianne’s Awesome Oatmeal

  1. Boil water in a kettle.
  2. 2. Get a small bowl, with the bottom no bigger than your palm.
  3. Add to the bowl a handful of oats*, half a handful of either psyllium husks or milled flax seeds, a tablespoon of brown sugar for taste, and just enough partly skimmed milk to dampen and cover the mixture, not drench it.
  4. Add the pre-boiled water to the mixture until it’s the consistency you like.

The oats will be released into your system gradually throughout the day, giving you a good source of energy. The milled flax or psyllium husks provide the fibre and nutrients your body needs to get through the day. Use rolled oats, not the instant premixed stuff, which contains preservatives and sugar
